Keep track of the jobs you actually care about.

A job application tracker should help you remember what you applied for and what needs attention next. Jobsly brings saved jobs, manually recorded application activity and job-specific preparation into one account.

For candidates managing several US job applications, interviews and follow-ups.

How to use Jobsly for this application

  1. Save a relevant job

Shortlist a role from the catalogue or capture a posting through the extension.

  2. Prepare with context

Review the job and resume, then save the notes and preparation you need.

  3. Record what happened

Update your application activity after confirming the action or outcome yourself.

Separate saved opportunities from submitted applications

Saving a job means you want to return to it. Recording an application means you report that you took that step. Keeping the distinction clear helps you avoid assuming an application was sent just because a resume or cover letter was prepared.

Jobsly does not infer that an employer received your materials from a saved job or preparation draft. Confirm submission on the employer’s site before updating your activity.

Keep preparation attached to the role

Use a saved preparation workspace for the selected job, profile and resume version. Retain edited practice answers, notes, cover-letter drafts and interview preparation where you can find them again.

A follow-up date is a planning aid. The current workspace does not send an email when that date arrives. Review the employer’s process before contacting a recruiter.

  • Save the employer’s original link.
  • Record the application stage and notes you want to remember.
  • Keep interview preparation associated with the correct role.

A practical weekly application review

Review your shortlist for expired or changed postings. Update the progress you can confirm and identify the next useful action for each opportunity: apply, prepare, follow up or archive.

For searches across US states or time zones, put interview timing and location restrictions in your notes. Do not rely on a remote label to mean that you can work from any location.

Three different actions, three clear records

Illustrative workflow; these are not live applications or employer updates.

Saved
You bookmarked a role to review later.
Prepared
You reviewed a resume draft and saved interview notes.
Applied
You confirmed submission with the employer and recorded it yourself.

Before you continue

  • The employer and role are correct.
  • A saved job has not been mistaken for a submitted application.
  • Preparation notes refer to the correct resume version.
  • The next action is clear and the posting is still relevant.

Questions before you apply

Does saving a job submit an application?

No. Saving and preparing are separate from applying. You review and submit on the employer’s site.

Does Jobsly automatically read my inbox?

This workflow uses your manually recorded activity and preparation. It does not require mailbox synchronization.

Will follow-up dates send emails?

No. Current follow-up dates help you plan; they do not send automatic email reminders or recruiter messages.
